(Hong Kong, September 1, 2012) DYXnet Group, the leading Greater China communications Technology (ICT) Service Provider, is pleased to announce today its Founder & CEO, Mr. Lap Man, bagged Asian Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) 2012 Hong Kong under the category of Outstanding Entrepreneurship Awards. He was invited to attend the Official Awards Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner being held on August 31, 2012 together with 12 other winners to be recognized with their contributions to their companies and their respective industries.

Organized by Enterprise Asia and supported by local governments, chambers of commerce and business, APEA is a regional awards program to honor entrepreneurs who have made remarkable contributions in their industries and shown outstanding performance and social citizenship in developing successful businesses in the region.

There are 3 categories under APEA: Most Promising Entrepreneurship Awards, Outstanding Entrepreneurship Awards & Special Achievement Awards. This year, it attracted over 82 nominations with only 4 winners in Most Promising Entrepreneurship Awards, 8 in Outstanding Entrepreneurship Awards, and 1 in Special Achievement Awards.

Under the category of Outstanding Entrepreneurship Awards, individuals have to demonstrate their entrepreneurial attributes that serve as role model for emerging entrepreneurs, including the tenacity and perseverance to continue innovating. All nominees must be in continued leadership of a registered business for over 3 years with a turnover of over USD50 million in the past 1 year. To be selected, all nominees must go through stringent judging process including supporting documents check, meeting with the representatives of Enterprise Asia and a final report prepared by the representatives to the judging panel. Then, the judging panel will further analyze the nominations based on the criteria such as evident business growth, market competitiveness, innovation of products and services, leadership qualities and entrepreneurial spirits, as well as vision and strategic direction.
