‘CUHK Entrepreneur Day 2018’, presented by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Alumni Torch Fund, will be held on 11 – 12 May, 2018 on campus. This two-day event will feature a series of entrepreneurial talks, an exhibition, a competition and a newly introduced ‘Innovation Demo Area’. This year, Professor Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK, and Alumnus Xu Li, CEO of SenseTime, will be the keynote speakers at the event’s opening ceremony. Members of the public are welcome, free.
DYXnet Group Founder & CEO Lap Man served as key speaker and judge at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Entrepreneur Day (CUHK E-day) held on May 11 & 12 – marking his second such contribution to the event in two years.
About CUHK Entrepreneur Day
CUHK Entrepreneur Day is an entrepreneurship event organised by the CUHK Alumni Torch Fund (the Fund). Founded in 2014, the Fund aims to promote a caring culture among CUHK alumni and is particularly set up to help young CUHK alumni to strengthen their competitive advantages and exposure to entrepreneurial opportunities.
The event is co-organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services, the Centre for Innovation and Technology and CUHK Alumni Entrepreneurs Association. It also receives support from the Alumni Affairs Office, CUHK Convocation and the Federation of Alumni Associations of CUHK.
Driven by CUHK-ers’ entrepreneurial spirit, the event features a wide range of activities and provides a one-stop information and exchange platform for CUHK students and graduates, experienced entrepreneurs from the circle of CUHK alumni, and the general public.
