Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) has successfully applied the Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme to commence a project namely “Road to Big Data – Technical Enhancement Project for Hong Kong Information and Technology Industry” this year. The project aims to encourage local IT professionals to make use of big data analytics in their business models and enhance competitiveness.
Funded by the Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme (PASS) of HKSAR, HKITIC (FHKI Group 25) organised the “International Forum: Cloud Computing, Big Data and AI in Realising an Intelligent Society” at Hong Kong Science Park on 29 March. Dr David Chung, Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology, HKSAR was the Guest-of-Honour of the Forum. Jason Pun, Assistant Government Chief Information Officer (Cyber Security and Standards), HKSAR was invited to deliver keynote speech on big data applications by the Government.
