DYXnet Debuts the New ONE private network Remote Service
Enhances Cross-Boundary Trading and Company Management Increase Efficiency and Competitiveness (Low costs、No installation、High Security)
(Hong Kong.9 Dec 2009) DYXnet Ltd., the leading Greater China Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Service Provider, is proud to present the new ONE private network Remote service. This new service offers a more secure and convenient way to use SSL private network technology, making it the ideal solution for the Greater China market.
Cross-boundary trading is growing globally and is particularly common in Greater China where business development relies on strong communication capabilities. Long distance communications are vital for any company conducting international business. Compared with traditional IPSec private network technology, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) private network is easy to install and low in cost, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
DYXnet Founder and CEO, Lap Man, commented on the new service, “DYXnet is dedicated to answering our customers’ needs. Our research shows that businesses seek low-cost solutions that allow them to allocate precious resources to their core business. In order to help customers achieve this aim, DYXnet has devised the ONE private network Remote service. This service, which incorporates the latest technological developments, will not only provide an effective communication gateway for our clients, it will also help to cut IT costs.”
ONE private network Remote Service Provides Numerous Benefits
The new ONE private network Remote solution has numerous competitive advantages. Firstly, unlike traditional private network technologies (e.g. IPSec private network), SSL private network requires no installation of software on the client’s side. It relies on a modern web browser’s SSL protocol to provide a secure connection between remote users and a corporate intranet, which enables staff to access the network anytime, anywhere. This efficient feature can lead to substantial reductions in cost and labour requirements.
Furthermore, SSL private network technology allows IT administrators to set multiple levels of authentication for distinct user groups. To avoid unauthorised access to the intranet, there is also a pre-connection checking system. This security measure verifies the authorisation of users before allowing access to the company’s resources.
In addition, a secure virtual platform will be developed for clients, which will protect them from the threat of malware or keyloggers (keyboard hook based hackers). This virtual workplace will enable effective removal of sensitive data such as browser history, Internet temporary files and cookies upon termination of a private network session.
Finally, unlike other SSL private network solutions on the market, which require multiple login accounts for different regions, DYXnet’s ONE private network Remote allows access to the corporate intranet in Taiwan, Mainland China and Hong Kong through one single access account. The service will automatically select local access points close to the user. This will inevitably reduce hardware and infrastructure management costs.
