Demonstrating the Continued Growth in MPLS private network & Contact Centre Businesses
(Hong Kong, 30 October 2013) DYXnet Group, Greater China’s ICT (Information and Communication Technology) service provider, is pleased to announce today that its first half of 2013 revenue grew 30% as compared to last year, thanks to its outstanding performance of both MPLS private network and contact centre businesses. MPLS private network and contact centre businesses recorded increases of 27% and 40% respectively.
Mr. Lap Man, Founder & CEO of DYXnet Group, stated, “Throughout the first half of 2013, the Group once again demonstrated our strong foothold in Greater China. Riding on the efforts of our staff members and the continuous supports from our clients, we battled through the slowdown of global economic environment and enjoyed steady growth in our businesses. To cope with the increasing ICT demand, we doubled our office spaces in Guangzhou and Shanghai and revamped our Network Operation Centre and Customer Service Centre in Guangzhou. By the end of this year, we will also double the size of our Beijing office to be fully prepared for our further growth in the future.”
In the first half of 2013, MPLS private network continued to be one of DYXnet’s major revenue drivers. The Group has successfully completed the deployment of 10,000 MPLS private network client sites, which marks an important milestone in the company’s growth and the start of a new era in its success. Its brand name clients included Chanel, Mazda, Lenovo, Federal Express, Xiaomi, Jebsen and Lane Crawford, to name a few.
The growth of its contact centre businesses remains robust. To cater for the industry’s demand, the Group will reposition its outsourcing businesses as total food delivery solution comprising multi-channel delivery management system as well as contact centre solution. The total food delivery solution is capable of supporting multimedia platforms such as phone, email, web and apps, etc. More detailed information will be announced later on.
The demand for DYXnet’s Data Centre service remained strong. In view of this, the Group set up its ninth data centre in Tseung Kwan O which will commence operations in the first quarter of 2014. In addition, driven by the increasing popularity of smartphones and other mobile devices, cloud technology becomes a hot topic and is widely adopted. Capitalizing on the opportunity, the Group’s cloud data centre in Shanghai already started its operation in the third quarter of 2013.
